Here's a nice article entitled: "How to tell if someone is lying: eyes."
There 's this interesting excerpt:
"3. Excessive blinking and winking. Lying creates a lot of stress on the body. One of the most noticeable effects is a sudden increase in a dishonest person's blink rate. As the body goes through its efforts to destress itself, certain areas of the body may start to feel dry. For the same reasons some liars may lick their lips compulsively, others may blink their eyes in order to restore lubrication. Honest people don't experience these effects of stress, so their blink rate rarely changes. When determining if a speaker is being truthful or not, observe their blink rates before, during and after their speech."
In his TV interview about his links to Gen. Garcia, Angelo Reyes was blinking excessively, a symptom of lying. And I believe he was indeed lying. When he said the SND had nothing to do with AFP finances and budget, that's a big lie. The AFP budget is reviewed and approved by the SND who is the one who presents it to Congress. The SND approves major AFP purchases. The SND is on top of all major AFP budgetary matters, procurement and disbursements.
Angelo Reyes does not need to go through a lie detector test. He has a built-in lie detector machine. - source: www.senate.gov.ph
